The author considers a coupled linear system [\textit{S. Micu} and \textit{E. Zuazua}, SIAM J. Math. Anal., 29, No. 4, 967-1001 (1998; Zbl 0908.35088)] of wave equations on the unit square in \({\mathbb R}^2\) with certain boundary conditions. When the nonhomogeneous term in one of the equations is periodic in time, the existence of periodic solutions to the coupled system is analyzed.
