The authors extend the methods of the motion associated with a loop, from the classical quantum field theory to (2-dimensional) Riemannian manifolds. In order to deal with spin properties, an operator of parallel transport is inserted into the path integral. Applications are given for the path integral solutions on a sphere and a pseudosphere. Finally, for two cosmological models (infinitely or finitely expanding) the propagators and the wave functions are explicitly determined.
