The author considers an evolutionary dam problem, an incompressible fluid flow through a porous medium governed by a nonlinear Darcy's law, for example, corresponding to the \(p\)-Laplacian. A nonlinear leaky boundary condition is imposed on some part of the boundary. The author proves the existence of a weak solution and the uniqueness of the solution for a large class of situations.
