The aim of this paper is to develop a method for discovering the inadmissible symbolic sequences generated by a class of nonlinear discrete systems with input and discontinuity. This class contains the \(\Sigma\Delta\)-modulators, a well-known model of discrete-time electronic systems. First, the author develops a general theory that extends existing theoretical results. Then, giving a proper new form of these results, the whole procedure is applied to two specific examples in order to obtain sets of inadmissible sequences: one example with varying input, and another example with constant input. It is worth to mention that the proposed method cannot ensure that all the inadmissible sequences are to be discovered.
