On the global existence of a cross-diffusion system (Q1576769)

This paper concerns a strongly-coupled nonlinear parabolic system describing a competition-diffusion system. This system generalizes the well-known Lotka-Volterra system, but takes into consideration the cross-diffusion pressures. The global existence of classical solutions is established when the space dimension is two and one of the cross-diffusion pressures is zero.
