The authors present some new characterizations of the Afraimovich-Pesin dimension, and adress a number of open questions: (1) The role of the Afraimovich-Pesin dimension to classify systems with zero topological entropy; (2) Computation of the Afraimovich-Pesin dimension for more general classes of systems, including noncontinuous applications.
