The authors start their study with the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the following equation: \[ \begin{cases} \partial_t\rho+\text{div}(v\rho)=0,\\ v=\nabla\Delta^{-1}\rho,\\ \rho|_{t=0}=\rho_0.\end{cases}\tag{1} \] Later on they rigorously justify the hydrodynamic of Ginzburg-Landau vortices to (1).
