The Hénon map family has been intensely studied in the last two decades and its universal role in unfoldings of quadratic homoclinic tangencies has been realized in the early 90s. For certain parameter regions, where a strange attractor appears, the authors construct a trapping region containing the attractor. They provide a precise description of the attractors' basins and the associated non-wandering sets.
