The author [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 29, No. 5, 1493-1503 (1992; Zbl 0756.65035)] presented a method for determining the interval hull of a preconditioned system of linear interval equations. In the present paper this method is simplified. Further, systems are described where the preconditioning process does not change the hull or parts of it of the original system.
