The author proves new perturbation theorems (Theorems 2.1 and 2.2) for bases of singular subspaces. These theorems are too technical to reproduce here. They complement the absolute and relative \(\sin\Theta\) theorems for singular subspaces. The author's results are important since they provide information about the relationship between the simultaneous bases of the perturbed left and right singular subspaces and the corresponding unperturbed simultaneous bases.
