Semi-Markovian models with a discrete-continuous phase space of the states of multiphase systems with intermediate buffers have been constructed. To analyze the reliability characteristics of the systems, phase-enlargement algorithms have been used. The characteristics obtained are expressed in terms of the expectations of some random variables and the values of cumulative distribution functions at certain points.
