The Cauchy problem for the linear elasticity equations is considered in the space \(\mathbb{R}^3\), with density and Lamé constants having jumps at the plane \(x_3 =0\). The fundamental solution is constructed with the use of the reflected and refracted Riemann functions. Inner estimates are performed to describe singularities of these functions. The results imply that many lateral elastic waves exist in a plane-stratified media.
