The paper deals with the asymptotic behaviour of the solution to the Liouville equations. The author presents a new proof for the diffusion equation using vector fields which are more singular than those considered in the original proof. To this end the author uses an asymptotic expansion of the solution to the Liouville equation. In contrast to previous results the proof of the author relies only on symbolic dynamics.
