The authors consider rings of weakly nearest neighbour coupled cells with weak sinus forcing (coupled map lattice with sinus local map). Using the concept of anti-integrability from Aubry, they prove existence of stable spatially periodic, time chaotic (in the sense of Devaney as well as Li-Yorke) patterns.
