The paper deals with the automorphism groups of secondary Hopf surfaces, i.e., Hopf surfaces whose fundamental groups are not cyclic. By using the results of \textit{M. Kato} [J. Math. Soc. Japan 27, 222-238 (1975; Zbl 0301.32025)] the authors give an explicit description of the covering transformations of secondary Hopf surfaces.
