The authors give some interesting contributions to the theory of Hermite and Laguerre multipliers. Using the weighted transplantation theorem for Laguerre multipliers they derive the characterization of one-dimensional Hermite multipliers. Then an extension theorem for Laguerre multipliers is proved. Finally backward differences are used to obtain necessary conditions for Laguerre multipliers.
