The Dorodnitsyn transformation of the unsteady gas flow equations in a boundary layer (Q1584122)

In the short survey the author discusses the application of the Dorodnitsyn transformation (see [\textit{A.~A.~Dorodnitsyn}, Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 34, No.~8, 234--242 (1942; Zbl 0063.01149); Prikl. Mat. Mekh. 6, No. 6, 449--484 (1942; Zbl 0063.01150)]) to the equations of unsteady flow in general case of three-dimensional flow. In the Dorodnitsyn's variables preserved is an explicit dependence of the solution of the equations under consideration on the Mach number of the external flow.
