The authors study the behavior of two-phase medium. Namely, the liquid and suspended solid particles in it are in the closed cylindrical vessel subjected to the gravity force field. Under certain conditions the particles settle down to the bottom under the gravity force while the liquid is displaced to the top. A mathematical model of nonstationary motion is proposed and the results of the numerical example are presented.
