The paper deals with higher integrability for the gradients of weak solutions of systems of quasilinear difference partial differential equations for elliptic-parabolic type. To this end the authors introduce proper assumptions on the coefficients of the equations and on the initial-boundary data and apply a procedure based on the paper of \textit{M. Giaquinta} and \textit{M. Struwe} [Math. Z. 179, 437-451 (1982; Zbl 0469.35028)].
