Let \(R\) be a commutative ring, \(H_0R\) denotes the ring of continuous maps \(\text{spec} R \to\mathbb{Z}\). In this paper the author studies the relations between \(H_0R\) and \(K_0R\) in terms of properties of finitely generated projective modules.
