The note under review is concerned with \(\mathbb{F}_2\)-embeddings of point-line geometries with line-size 3. The author disproves a conjecture of Cooperstein's by constructing an embeddable \(\mathbb{F}_2\)-geometry for which the embedding rank (namely, 4) is strictly smaller than the minimal size of a generating set of points (namely, 5).
