The author investigates the dispersion constant \(D(\alpha)\) of sequences \((n\alpha)\) modulo 1, where \(\alpha\) is a given irrational number. This constant is a measure for the denseness of these sequences. In the present paper a real number \(c\) has been found above which the dispersion spectrum (i.e. the set of values \(D(\alpha)\)) is continuous. Furthermore, a simple proof of an inequality by V. Drobot is given.
