The set \(\mathcal D_n\) of diagonally dominant symmetric real matrices of order \(n\) with nonnegative diagonal elements is a polyhedral convex cone. Based on its extreme rays, the author derives a description of the kernel of matrices in \(\mathcal D_n\) in terms of support graph. Moreover, the relevant doubly stochastic matrices in \(\mathcal D_n\) are studied.
