The paper deals with inequalities which imply univalence of analytic functions. It is shown that Becker's inequality is not able to obtain an \(n\)-valent criterion for \(n>1\). The investigation is based on the construction of appropriate functions. There is a hydrodynamical interpretation of the corresponding functions.
