The author gives a detailed description of places in and around Berlin that are in some way connected to the history of physics. A main focus are the buildings of the former Physikalisch-Technische Reichsanstalt, the Kaiser Wilhelm Gesellschaft and the Technische Hochschule (today's Technical University). Another destination of this guided tour is Potsdam, the birthplace of such famous physicists as Moritz Jacobi and Hermann Helmholtz. In this city, the most interesting places for a Physical Tourist are the Telegraphenberg, which was the location of the world's first astrophysical institute, and the Einstein Tower where the astronomer Erwin Finlay-Freundlich made observations in order to confirm Einstein's theory of general relativity. Numerous plaques commemorating physicists, and burial sites of famous physicists in Berlin and its vicinity are listed in an appendix.
