The authors consider the observation of a quantum system at discrete intervals of time. In the continuous time limit they obtain a Schrödinger-Belavkin-type stochastic differential equation for a ``continuously observed'' scalar field. They state a Feynman-Kac formula for the solution of this equation in the case of motion in magnetic and potential fields of a particle whose first coordinate is continuously observed, and for the one-dimensional motion of a particle whose coordinate and momentum are under continuous observation.
