The paper addresses the equations applied to the mathematical modelling of the cupula-endolymphatic system (CES) with allowance for the phenomenological Steinhausen model [see \textit{W. Steinhausen}, Phlg. Arch. 232, 500-512 (1933)]. The authors obtain a mathematical model of CES in linear approximation and analyse it. The amplitude frequency and phase frequency characteristics of the model are determined in the form of algebraic relations.
