Numerical experiment in the problem of the flutter of an arbitrary-shaped plate in plan. (Q1596191)

The authors use the results of the papers [\textit{A.~A.~Il'yushin} and \textit{I.~A.~Kiĭko}, J. Appl. Math. Mech. 58, No. 3, 545--549 (1994); translation from Prikl. Mat. Mekh. 58, No. 3, 167--171 (1994; Zbl 0880.73041); the authors, J. Appl. Math. Mech. 61, No. 1, 169--172 (1997); translation from Prikl. Mat. Mekh. 61, No. 1, 171--174 (1997; Zbl 1040.74510)] and present the results of the parametric analysis of the plate flutter. The investigations are carried out for the round plate, the plate bounded by epitrochoid and the rectilinear plate. Established is the dependence of the flutter velocity on the plate thickness.
