The authors give a description of the intersection cohomology groups of the Schubert varieties in partial flag manifolds over symmetrizable Kac-Moody Lie algebras in terms of parabolic Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials introduced by \textit{V. Deodhar} [J. Algebra 111, 483-506 (1987; Zbl 0656.22007)].
