The authors consider a special class of integrodifferential equations with periodic boundary conditions arising in applied mathematics. Polynomial projection methods to solve the presented problem are used. Various realizations of projections methods are investigated (Galerkin method, collocation method and domain decomposition method). Moreover, optimality of the studied methods is proved.
