Relations are established between two types of conditions: those posed on the Fourier coefficients and structural ones for \(2\pi\)-periodic functions in \(L^p,\) \(p>1.\) Known results were given in terms of the function \(x^\beta,\) \(\beta>0;\) here this function is replaced by either a concave function or that of a Mulholland type.
