Minimal and harmonic characteristic vector fields on three-dimensional contact metric manifolds (Q1601374)

In the paper under review the authors consider three-dimensional contact metric manifolds whose unit characteristic vector field is harmonic or minimal. They determine some geometric characterizations and equivalence results for such fields, give the analytic conditions for minimality and harmonicity and provide some applications when the space is homogeneous or has constant scalar curvature.
