The principle of strong diminishing transfer (Q1601450)

The aim of this paper is the characterization of the principles of diminishing transfer and of a dual diminishing transfer in \textit{M. E. Yaari} [Econometrica 55, 91-115 (1987; Zbl 0616.90005)] and \textit{J. Quiggin} [A theory of anticipated utility, J. Econ. Behavior Organ. 3, 323-343 (1982)] models. The principles of diminishing transfer and dual diminishing transfer. There are shown sufficient and necessary conditions for a decision maker to respect the strong principle. These results are applied to the problem of the Gini indices analyse.
