This paper is devoted to the description of the solution for the system \(Ax=y\), where \(A\) is a nonsingular Minkowski matrix. The results published by \textit{J. P. Milaszewicz} and \textit{L. P. Moledo} [Linear Algebra Appl. 195, 1-8 (1993; Zbl 0789.15023)] are improved in two ways. Firstly, the sufficient conditions for \(x\) having only positive coordinates are weakened. Secondly, the proof is simplified and some extensions are presented.
