The \( L_{p}(\mu) \)-norm approximation capability of the generalized Mamdani fuzzy system is studied. An upper bound of the fuzzy rule numbers of the fuzzy rule base of the fuzzy system is estimated. A simulation example is analyzed to illustrate the conclusions.
