The author shows that the cohomology algebra of the configuration space with parameters from the \(2n\)-sphere, of the Möbius band and the cohomology of the product of the \(2n+1\)-sphere and its loop space are isomorphic. The coefficients can be either the rationals or a finite field with an odd prime number of elements. As a byproduct, the integer homology of the ordinary braid group of the Möbius band is determined.
