Group analysis of dynamic equations of non-Newtonian fluid (Q1603094)

The paper lacks an abstract or proper background which makes it difficult for the reader. Firstly, the author performs an approximate symmetry analysis of a first-order perturbed scalar partial differential equation which arises in non-Newtonian fluids. Approximate invariant solutions are constructed for first-order symmetries obtained. Then conditions under which the approximate symmetries are exact are considered as well as exact solutions. This work follows a similar study of a particular form of the same equation (see references cited in the paper). The reference list is inadequate and omits recent and related works.
