Transversely affine foliations with affine leaves are studied in this paper using Koszul-Vinberg algebroids. The authors found a cohomological condition which assures that these structures yield an affine structure on the ambient manifold. Two examples on \(\mathbb{R}^2\) and another one on \(S^1 \times \mathbb{R}\) are treated in detail.
