Well-posedness results for models of elastomers (Q1604255)

This paper deals with the theoretical foundations of a series of models for the dynamic behaviour of elastomers. The authors consider well-posedness of the basic model with three different constitutive laws. First they show that the nonlinear problem with no hysteresis is well posed. Moreover, the results demonstrate that well-posedness can be achieved under relaxed assumptions and can be extended to the problem with nonlinear internal dynamics.
