The author shows that the hypotheses made in the main theorems of the paper cited in the title [\textit{B. K. Sharma}, \textit{D. R. Sahu} and \textit{M. Bounias}, ibid. 254, No. 2, 636-644 (2001; Zbl 0999.47058)] are in part met only for the identity operator, in part superflous, in part contradictory, and in part exclude even classical \(L_p\) spaces, in contrast to what these authors claim.
