An algebraic model for homotopy fibers (Q1605633)

The authors construct a cochain algebra model of \(C^{*}(F,R)\). Here \(F\) is a homotopy fiber of a continuous map and \(R\) a commutative ring with unit. The construction is performed provided that the morphism: \(({\Omega}f_{\#}) : CU_{*}({\Omega}X,R) \rightarrow CU_{*}({\Omega}Y,R)\) is given. The authors give also some examples when their model can be simplified. The methods are related to former articles of the authors where the field coefficients were considered.
