The goal of this paper is to analyze a substantially simplified modification of the gradient-type method, in which the projection operator is used at every iteration step. As a result a new version of the gradient method with projection onto a fixed subspace is suggested. The process suggested is designed for the approximate solution of irregular operator equations and can be implemented more easily than the version proposed by the author earlier.
