From authors' summary: The paper is deals with a technique for computing viscous flows with nonequilibrium physicochemical processes at a shock front and in the relaxation region behind the shock front. A relaxation method and an implicit finite difference scheme on a moving staggered grid are used. As an example, we present results computed for a shock wave in air with allowance for nonequilibrium dissociation, nonequilibrium vibrational excitation, and vibration-dissociation interaction.
