Control of cells shapes in the course of grid generation (Q1608274)

This paper is devoted to the grid generation process in which mode location can be effectively controlled. The proposed approach is based on the principle of minimum mapping-energy density, which can be applied to both structured and unstructured meshing. The control is defined by cell shape in the region where a grid correction is required. The scope of the proposed method is illustrated by numerical results.
