For the classical Lotka-Volterra predator-pray system, the new notion of the \(I\)-optimal curve is introduced. The curve is disposed in the phase space of the system and intersects each trajectory of the Lotka-Volterra system at least once. The monotonicity, continuity and linear asymptotical behavior of this curve are proved.
