A single-server retrial queue with quasi-random input and two priority classes is studied. In case of blocking, a high-priority unit is queued, while a low-priority unit joins the orbit and starts a Poisson flow of retrials until it finds the server free. The outside observer distribution and the arriving unit distribution in steady state are derived. The effects of the parameters on several performance measures are studied numerically.
