Automorphisms of the Toeplitz algebra with piecewise continuous symbol (Q1609591)

Let \(PC_{[n]}\) denote the algebra of piecewise continuous functions on the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}\) (continuous on \(\mathbb{T}\) except for finitely many fixed points \(z_1, \dots , z_n \in \mathbb{T}\)) and let \(T_f\) denote the Toeplitz operator in \(H^2(\mathbb{T})\) with symbol from \(PC_{[n]}\). The authors give a characterization for the automorphism group \(\Aut J(PC_{[n]})\) of the \(C^\ast\)-algebra \(J(PC_{[n]})\) generated by \(T_f, f\in PC_{[n]}\).
