The two-point boundary value problem \(-u''= f(t,u)\), \(u(0) = u(1) = 0\), in a Banach space is investigated. The function \(f\) is assumed to satisfy the weak Carathéodory condition. The solution can be obtained as a uniform limit of the corresponding iterative sequence.
