This authors consider numerical homogenization of capillary pressure and water-oil mobility in two-phase porous media, when the coarse-scale results are functions of coarse-scale saturation. The approach to nonlinear problem is based on the principle that the mathematical form of fine-scale equations should be preserved as much as possible on coarse scales. The resulting equations are solved numerically by two complementary finite element methods.
