This is a novel inverse problem related to cavity flows in gas dynamics. In addition, it provides rigorous proofs of the technique which the authors developed by using the theory of analytic functions and complex theory. It is mainly restricted to two-dimensional flows. It can be applied to submarines or land mine detection.
